Understand people.
Make change work.

TFUH is my space for exploring how people, knowledge and technology work together. I turn complex questions into analysis, practical tools and new ventures.

AnalysisFind patterns in how organizations work and how change takes hold.
InteractionMake knowledge and technology useful to the person receiving them.
InnovationMove from a question to a concept, a prototype and a viable next step.
What I work on

Where human understanding
meets technical possibility.

My work starts with people in real situations: what they are trying to do, what gets in the way and what would help them move forward.

01 / Analysis

Organizational change

Explore the relationship between leadership, individual purpose and knowledge sharing. Combine people's accounts with structured analysis to understand where intentions and everyday work diverge.

02 / Interaction

Human–machine interaction

Explore how people understand and use intelligent tools. The questions are practical: what does someone need to know, how should it be presented, and where does human judgement belong?

03 / Innovation

Ideas into practice

Develop concepts and prototypes around a real need. Connect research, technical experimentation and business development to give promising ideas a route into use.

Research foundation

Tool for impact of change.

My master's thesis asks how we can identify and understand the effects of organizational change beyond financial measures.

The study brings together transformational leadership, learning organizations and individual purpose. Qualitative interviews, word-frequency analysis and thematic interpretation form a tool for examining strengths and gaps in change situations.

A central insight: knowledge needs to be shaped for its recipient and shared actively. A strategy only becomes useful when people can connect it to their own work.

The tool was explored through digitalized healthcare, an emergency department and an ISO certification process. It offers a structured starting point for discussion and improvement; the small, qualitative study does not establish a universal prediction model.

Company case / FTL

Innovation that became
a company.

One concrete result of the work at TFUH: helping an idea become a company, take its place in the innovation ecosystem and enter an incubator.

FTLCOGNITIVE
SYSTEMS

An idea at TFUH.
A company of its own.

FTL Cognitive Systems grew out of work started within TFUH and was co-founded by Johannes Löfgren and Rasmus Thoren. Today, it has its own team and home for industrial AI and decision support.

  1. 01 / Company created

TFUH turned early development into the foundation for FTL Cognitive Systems.

  2. 02 / Almi’s Innovation Council milestone

The venture was presented to Almi’s Innovation Council and made it through the process.

  3. 03 / Innovatum & Upstream

FTL was accepted into Innovatum's incubator and the Upstream programme to develop the business further.

Ongoing exploration

How does individual knowledge
become shared understanding?

I am exploring how people and intelligent systems can learn from one another, connect perspectives and support better decisions. Current work looks at the conditions that help knowledge move between people and across organizational boundaries.

The person behind TFUH

Johannes Löfgren.

Hi, I’m Johannes, the person behind TFUH. My background is in organization and management research, and I enjoy turning ideas into practical tools, new ventures and things people can use.

I’m curious about how people work together, how change happens and how technology can help. TFUH is where I explore those questions through research, hands-on development and collaboration.

I’m always happy to meet people with different perspectives and ideas. Have something you’d like to explore, a challenge to work through or a project in mind? Get in touch — let’s build something together.
